AI Automation Engineer Jobs at Softhat IT Solutions
Our clients want their routine work done automatically. Leads should be answered on WhatsApp, orders should reach a sheet, and reports should arrive without anyone typing them. As an AI Automation Engineer you build these systems.
You will work with n8n, AI models and the tools our clients already use. Every workflow is tested on real client data before it goes live, and you stay close to it after launch.
The role
What you will do
- Build and maintain n8n workflows for client businesses.
- Create AI agents that use tools, such as looking up records or booking appointments.
- Connect WhatsApp chatbots to CRMs, Google Sheets and business software.
- Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks, and handle errors cleanly.
- Test workflows on real client data and fix problems before launch.
- Write short notes so clients and teammates understand each automation.
- Monitor live automations and improve them based on client feedback.
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with n8n, Make or a similar automation tool.
- Good understanding of APIs, JSON and webhooks.
- Basic JavaScript or Python for custom steps.
- Experience writing prompts for AI models and checking their output.
- Patience to test carefully and explain things simply to clients.
Nice to have
Bonus points
- Experience with the WhatsApp Business API.
- Familiarity with vector databases or retrieval for AI agents.
- Self-hosting tools on a Linux server.
- Ability to speak Urdu or Pashto with clients.
