Web Developer Jobs at Softhat IT Solutions
We build websites and web apps for businesses in Pakistan and abroad. Our sites need to load fast on mobile phones, rank well in search and be easy for clients to use.
As a Web Developer you will work mainly with Next.js, React and TypeScript, and with WordPress where it suits the client. You will take projects from design to a live server.
The role
What you will do
- Build client websites and web apps with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
- Build and customise WordPress sites where a client needs one.
- Design and query MySQL or MariaDB databases.
- Keep pages fast, with good Core Web Vitals on mobile.
- Write clean, SEO-ready markup with correct titles, headings and structured data.
- Deploy sites to Linux servers and keep them updated.
- Fix bugs and add features for existing clients.
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with React, and ideally Next.js and TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of SQL with MySQL or MariaDB.
- Use of Git in daily work.
- Care for detail and a habit of testing on real phones.
Nice to have
Bonus points
- Experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Basic Linux server and Nginx skills.
- WordPress theme or plugin development.
- Understanding of technical SEO.
